This is a general iron-glazed water jar that flourished from the end of the Kamakura period (1185-1333) to the Nanbokucho period (1392-1333). The mouth is made with a beveled rim with a degenerated catch.
The center is decorated with a chinkisen line with a comb-like pattern. The handle is molded. The iron glaze is applied thickly over the entire surface, showing a stable blackish-brown glaze tone. This work shows that the Koseto axis was almost completed.
