Specialty. Raku ware tea bowl. Black, one of the seven types of Kaga nonkou. It was owned by Aoyama Shokan, a retainer of the Kaga clan, and thus the name. The black glaze has a beautiful luster and a white mandarin duck-like pattern on the outer surface. (After passing through the Aoyama family, it went through Kameda Iemon and Yoshikura Souza, and entered the Yokoyama family in 1896 (Taisho Meikikikan).
