Specialty. Korean tea bowl, Gohon Tachitsuru. The carved pattern of the standing crane is inscribed with the name of a place associated with the area. The box is inscribed with a poem from “Kokinshu” (Kokinshu: A Collection of Ancient and Modern Japanese Poems), Volume 20, “Asa tsukkuru wa uneno-no-no-no-tazuzo naru akenu kono-yoru”. It is considered to be one of the best of the Omote. Originally owned by the Mitsui family in Kyoto, it was later passed down through the Nakahara Shobei, Hirase, and Fujita families.
