Chukyo specialty. Shinchu old tea caddy, Ogawa style. It is said to have been so named because Ogawa Sosada took it out, and it is also said that it was inscribed “Ogawa” because of its six-striped nadare.
It is said to have been named after Ogawa Mune-sada because it was produced by him, and it is also said to have been named after Ogawa because it has six-striped nadare. After Kosososada, it passed through Kobori Enshu, Minato Soyu, Tsuchiya Sagamimori, and Itakura Sadamori, and then again entered Tsuchiya Sagamimori.
