A Chukoh specialty. This is an old tea caddy in the center of the tea ceremony utensil. This tea caddy was named in honor of the poem “Hito haizayasuran tamakagara menei ni motozu” from “Ise monogatari” (The Tale of Ise), which praises the charm of the poem. Today, Noda’s original poem has already been destroyed by fire, and this tea caddy, which is an image of the poem, can be said to be a representative work of Noda’s. It was originally owned by Tsuchiya Sagamimori. Originally owned by Tsuchiya Sagamimori, it passed through the Kutsuki Omi no Mamoru and Gifu Kato families before joining the Fujita Denzaburo family.
Currently in the collection of the Fujita Museum of Art. (Taisho Meikikan)
