A great masterpiece. A karamono tea caddy. The black ame glaze runs from the mouth rim to the shoulder, and the glaze pool shows a little snake-scorpion color. There are two lines on the steamer edge and one line above the middle of the body, and the bottom of the steamer shows light rat color clay. This tea caddy was owned by Yamashiro Takekoshi, a retainer of the Owari clan, and later passed to the Marquis of Owari.
