This type of jar, with its short, upright neck, is one of the relatively small vessels of the Echizen vessels. It has a well-fired brownish-brown color with a greenish-brown natural glaze on a part of the shoulder. There is a kiln mark Z on the shoulder and a geta mark on the bottom. This is a neatly shaped jar.
