Chukoh specialty. Kinkasan tea caddy, Seto tenmoku hand. This small tea caddy has a glaze of amber with purple tints and a luster similar to that of tenmoku. Originally owned by Kobori Enshu, it was handed down to the Matsudaira family in Unshu since Matsudaira Fumai asked for it with 10 gold pieces around 1789 (1801).
