Sisi (Lion)
Sisi (Lion)

Specialty. Raku ware tea bowl, black, by NONKOU.
It is generally thinly made, and the mouth rim is very thin and has a so-called “clam” edge held inward.
The mouth is held inside and has a so-called “clam’s edge”.
The sharply pointed base of the earthenware shows the brilliance of NONKOU without regret.
It is said that the white snake cochlea glaze on the front of the bowl is a bridge, and the name of the bowl was inspired by the stone bridge in the Noh play.
