A great masterpiece. Tea container in a round jar by Han. Belonged to Hirotaka Terasawa Shimamori, Lord of Karatsu Castle. The glaze is white brown and the glaze is extremely thin and white clay. The body has a string. This tea caddy has a rich variety of scenery. When the Terasawa family confiscated it, this tea caddy passed to Hon’ami Saburobei, who later sold it to the Edo merchant Kaiho Hanbei for 5,000 gold, and then to Mitsui Kyopo in Kyoto. Later, it came into the possession of Soshio Matsuya of Osaka Tani, who gave it to the Sakai family in Wakasa Province for 1,500 ryo for six pieces, including Ikoma hagashirazu, Echigo Ido Sometsuke tea bowl, Tamakashiwa tea caddy, and Seto tea bowl, before finally passing to the Sakai family.
