A hinokigaki (hinoki fence) is a pattern resembling a hinoki fence. Some Korean-style carved mishima are decorated with carvings such as bunsugi inside and outside, while others are decorated only inside. There are a variety of shapes and forms, but those with deep carvings and firm, rough carvings are most appreciated.
