A great masterpiece. A crane-neck tea caddy by Han. The rounded shape is tight and graceful, the glaze is fine, and the wabi is incomparable. This tea caddy was originally a treasured possession of Rikyu, and was passed on to Matsudaira Uesosuke, the Shogunate, the Shimazu family, the Shogunate, and the Sakai Wakasamori, and later to the Sakai family.
