Specialty items. Korean tea bowl, old well. Enshu Kobori once found this tea bowl in Fushimi Rokujizo (Fushimi-ku, Kyoto) in Yamashiro Province and passed it down from generation to generation in the Kobori family, but it was later handed down to Itaro Manya and Jinbei Dou.
In November 1866, Yashichi Tanimatsuya purchased it for 3500 ryo. In November 1866, Yashichi Tani Matsuya purchased it for 3,500 ryo gold. At the time, it was highly disreputable because a kawarasha (theatrical actor) used this tea bowl to drink tea, and in February of the following year, Tani Matsuya gave it to Hyosai Fukukuya of Kanazawa, Kaga Prefecture (Ishikawa Prefecture) for the same amount of money. In March of the same year, it went to Tsuchiya Sahei in Kanazawa, and then again to Osaka, where it was sold to Kojin for 500 gold pieces at a bidding for tools, entering the Sumitomo family around 1889.
