　This Echizen vase has a slightly outwardly upright neck with a beveled top. The fine-grained clay mixed with rice field clay gives the vessel a shiny reddish-brown color, and the yellowish-green natural glaze on the shoulder makes this jar stand out. The bottom is slightly under-fired and yellowish brown. There is a mark (I) on the shoulder.
