 This is a good reference material for dating the large wide-bordered jars that flourished from the late Muromachi to the Momoyama period. The surface of the jar is smooth and smooth. The mouth rim has a wide rim band with 5.5 cm wide folds. The shoulder is inscribed in five lines with the inscription, “Sanshoku iru ichi kichi hinetsuru chi uzuki yoshichi genki 2 nen” (Sanshoku iru ichi kichi hinetsuru chi uzuki yoshichi genki 2 nen). The brownish-brown body is covered with a nightingale-colored natural glaze.
