This is one of the twin perfect examples of Shino Ichimoji incense containers, along with the “Mannensei incense container.
The white glaze is thicker than that of the “Mannensei Kogai,” and the snow-white surface is soft and the red burnt surface is particularly vivid. It is believed to have been made at the Oyamudong kiln or under the kiln, along with “Manyonsei Kogei”.
