Height 5.2 cm, diameter 16.1-16.8 cm, tripod
This mukozuke has a folded mouth with four sides picked out to form a stroking square. Unlike the previous example, it is one step deeper and wider, with legs on three sides of the flat bottom, leaving round marks between the legs. The white glaze over the oni-plate overglaze is quite thick and softly fired to a beautiful grayish-gray color, with dark brown-red burn marks at the mouth rim, bottom, and other areas where the glaze is thin. There are three small marks on the surface, and a small wheel-thrown pattern appears in the center. This is another outstanding piece of Nezumi-Shino wagashi.
