Seto Black tea bowl

Seto Black tea bowl

Height 7.7cm, mouth diameter 12.9cm, base diameter 5.9cm
This is a semi-tubular tea bowl with a distorted mouth structure and a very low base. The mouth rim is held inward to show undulations.
The sharp spatula is turned there, and the body has four sharp vertical spatulas. The lowered base is slightly distorted, and the clay skin around the base is burnished, forming an apologetic scene. The black glaze is well melted, but some golden tints are visible. The inside of the potter’s wheel is gently rounded.
