Mukozuke is the most widely mass-produced type of Oribe ware, and there is a great variety of shapes and patterns. This fan-shaped cylindrical mukozuke is one of the most representative examples. It is decorated with a simplified design using iron-zinc lines and white enameling with full awareness of the color effects of the green glaze and red ground, but it has a more decorative effect than more complex designs. The bottom is of the goze-bottom type, as seen on Shino mukozuke, with the center part rounded off in a shallow cut.
