Cylindrical tea bowls of this type are relatively rare. The body is covered with black glaze all the way around the prospect and the outer rim, and the glaze is scraped off to reveal a bridge-like design on one side and a three-striped pattern on the other side in white, with feldspar glaze over the carving marks. The glazed surface is softly fired with a hint of shakiness. It is an interesting tea bowl with a high stand.
