This is a unique flattened jar with a cylindrical shape on a long, cauldron-shaped body. It has ears on both sides from the base of the neck to the shoulders. The mouth is stepped and the rim is slightly concave. The left and right sides of the body are generously inflated, but the front and back are pressed down and hollowed out significantly. The body has a bright reddish color at the hem and the rest of the body is dark brown and tightly fired. The base of the ode is surrounded by a single line of engraving, and the shoulder is engraved with an “○” mark and an “X”, and the flat bottom is engraved with a “〒” mark. This is probably the most beautiful of all Bizen flat vases. There are traces of rice husks on the bottom.
