Height 9.0 cm, mouth diameter 2.9 cm, body diameter 6.9 cm, bottom diameter 5.0 cm
This small, slightly long-necked Tokuturi is a rare vessel used by tea masters as a sake cup for serving tea. Although it may be a small piece, it has a solid appearance, with a mouth shape, shoulder tension, and body swelling, and is as dignified as a large piece. The flat bottom of the vessel still bears traces of spatula cutting, and a “9” mark is engraved in the center. The reddish color from the mouth to the shoulder is beautiful, and the body is decorated with a pale and dark tasuki (wrapper cloth) pattern.
It was formerly in the collection of the Koide Shobei family of the 11th Shop in Nagoya, and later came to the Fujita family.
