This is a nock-shaped vase with a rounded mouth and stepped sides around the upper part of the body and the base. The bottom has a geta bottom, and a thin layer of sesame glaze has been applied from the mouth to part of the body, while the rest of the body is dark gray or reddish. This is a powerful water jar.
