Height 25.4 cm, mouth diameter 12.9 x 13.9 cm, bottom diameter 14.1 cm, Hatakeyama Memorial Museum
The body is rounded with a nock-shaped mouth and slightly thickened ears on two sides of the shoulder. The upper part of the body is gently lined with a spatula in the shape of a mountain path. The mouth is red and the front of the body is covered with a thick layer of ash, some of which has reddish patches on it, creating a deeply tasty scene. The back of the body is red, and the kiln has also changed to gray. The overall finish of the ware is a little stiff, but like the “Fukumimi” vase, it was probably made during the Tensho period (1615-1628). There are marks on the front and back shoulders where holes have been filled in. There is a thin kiln mark on the bottom.
