Bizen Tea caddy

Height 6.5 cm, mouth diameter 3.8 cm, body diameter 6.9 cm, bottom diameter 4.9 cm
 This tea caddy has a simple jar shape. The entire surface is reddish brown, with blackened burnishing on some of the shoulders. The flat bottom has a shallow spatula-engraved kiln mark. It may have been made in the late Muromachi period (1333-1573).
