This large ookai-shaped tea caddy is also modeled after a Chinese ookai tea caddy, with a rounded mouth with a ball-shaped rim and a richly swollen body, and a single strap around the body. The mouth is rounded with a beveled rim, and the body is full and bulging, with a single strap around the body. The glazed surface is slightly tanned. The mark “Hisa” is carved in spatula on the bottom.
