Height 9.3 cm, mouth diameter 4.1 cm, body diameter 7.7 cm, bottom diameter 7.0 cm
This is a low-mouthed tea caddy with an impulse-shaped shoulder, and this style is often seen in Bizen. The ash has fallen from the shoulder to one side of the body, and the rest of the body is reddish in color. On the bottom is a red lacquer inscription “Niou left (hanaseki)” written directly by Haraso Soza. The name “Nioh” may have been given to this piece because of its stout, stout shoulders. There are other Nioh inscribed on the bottom as well, as they are almost the same in style.
