The large outward-opening square section is gently undulating, and the neck is covered with four-tiered line carvings with small ears on either side. The body, which is stretched at the hem, is made in four directions, with a face on the hem and one or two alternating vertical spatula marks on each side of the body. The body is heavily covered with ash from the mouth to the hem of the front body, which has been burnished black and red, creating a truly austere scene. The back is reddish brown with a green beadlo glaze at the neck.
