This is another representative example of an Iga ware jar from the Momoyama period (1573-1600) with a beautiful glazed surface. The mouth is rounded with a bead rim, and the shoulders are covered with two stripes. The beadlo glaze is brightly applied from the mouth to the shoulder and burnt black around the base, revealing a reddish clay surface in the center.
