This cylindrical tub-shaped vase has thick, flattened hands and a chunky pouring spout. The stroked shoulders are covered with two lines, and the bottom has legs on three sides. The entire outer surface is covered with a candy-colored glaze, but the surface of the sleeve is unevenly burned. This type of glaze is also unique to Tamba. Its appearance is ancient and probably does not date back to the early Edo period.
