The slightly inward-tilted neck is thickened at the tip of the mouth and the top has a rounded outer rim. It is a valuable piece of reference material from the end of the 16th century, belonging to the long jar series. The body is made of rolled-up clay with a four-tiered gibi work, and the vessel is decorated with cat’s-painting on the shoulders and brushwork on the lower half of the body. It is well fired, with a fresh green natural glaze on the shoulder and a kiln mark on the shoulder with an engraving inscribed in the year Keicho 2.
