The small oral band and the thicker lower half are somewhat later among plum vases of this form. The vase is made of high-quality grayish-white clay and has a double chinkaku line on the ring molding, under which a floral design is painted over the entire surface. This is the simplest of the inka techniques and was produced in large numbers during the peak period of the pottery industry. Each piece is glazed with ash glaze. The ash glaze is applied evenly over the entire surface, but it is slightly oxidized and yellowish green in color, and the coloring is not very good.
