The inward inclination of the neck of the mouth has progressed, the tension of the shoulders has decreased, and the body has become rounded, which may be indicative of the changing times. The shoulder is engraved with the inscription, “Kami Kichiemon Genjuro Hanashii” (Yoshiday, February, Keicho 18, 1896). The reddish-brown surface is coated with a slightly oxidized bright green glaze. It is valuable as a reference material with a clear production date.
