This dish differs somewhat from the previous ones in that the base is molded slightly higher than the previous ones. The sword guard is rounded at the edge with a landscape design with large clouds in the sky. The dark underglaze blue coloring and the depiction is somewhat similar to that of Ko-Kutani, which is conventionally called Ai-Kutani, but was made in Arita. The three sides of the reverse side are decorated with a flowing water design.
