Height 27.3cm, Ashmolean Museum of Art
This is a Kakiemon style design, which is considered to be stylistically similar to the peony design of the previous painting. This is one of the oldest of the jars with chrysanthemum flowers painted on a tahoishi stone center, and the overglaze enameling is generally dark and colorful. Although some of the overglaze enamel has been boiled off, this is one of the few examples of an early Kakiemon style jar with a matching lid.
