Height 4.6cm, mouth diameter 14.9cm, base diameter 8.Icm, Okayama Museum of Art
A five-sun dish with a thinly raised mouth. The design is a reduced version of the karafana design seen on the seven-sun plate, but both the underglaze blue and overglaze enameling are beautifully colored. It is thought to have been made during the peak period of the Okawachi domain kilns.
The reverse side is decorated on three sides with a shippo-yui pattern, and the base is covered with a solid comb pattern.
