This circular dish has a sword-shaped rim and a slightly raised mouth.
A circular window is depicted in underglaze blue on the front, and within the window, a mawashi and millet are depicted in very light brush strokes. It has been said that this is a draft of Morikage Hisasumi, who used to play with it in Kaga, but this is probably not true. The rim is decorated on three sides with an arabesque pattern, and on the outer three sides with a design of folded branches of plum blossoms in underglaze blue, with overglaze red and green overglaze green on the flowers and leaves. The inside of the base shows a double circle of underglaze blue, and lines of underglaze blue are also around the outside of the mouth.
