　According to Mr. Kikutaro Saito, the design shown here is based on the poem “Kishibana” by Zhongtang Zhangzhi in “Five Words of Tang Poetry and Painting”. The design is surrounded by a Shozu roundel design, and the outside is decorated with straw handles and a triangular pattern in an elegant color scheme unique to Kogutani Shozui-te. It was donated to the Tokyo National Museum by Yokogawa Tamisuke.
