Manjuin
This piece came from Manju-in, and is covered with a persimmon glaze from around the mouth to the inside and with a cloudy white glaze on the outside. The body is lined with five rows of stripes, and the large seal of Ninsei is stamped inside the shallowly carved base. It is thought to have been made in the Karatsu style.
