 This is one of ten paintings in the collection of the Fujita Museum of Art. It depicts an elderly man looking straight ahead, and is inscribed with the inscription “Hohashi Korin Painting,” with Qianzan’s inscription, “Kono Hajime Ban Nanjiru Kosei Qian Kun Doukyu Sun Tame Jyusei (The Spirit of Longevity),” in praise of the work. The two seals “Shoko” and “Toin” are also stamped upside down.
