This is probably the best example of a Kikai white porcelain teapot.
The four-clawed dragon design is shown on both sides of the shoulder of the body, with a treasure bead in between. The white glaze is applied from the body to the base, and the glaze melts smoothly. The mark “Mokumai” is stamped on the underside of the lid and the handle, and on the lid of the box it is written “Hakushi Ryu Ryu Orimono Kyusu Mokumai Touin”.
