This is a small, truly lovely incense container. It depicts a single plum blossom in a naturalistic style, and the fullness of the blossom is exquisite. The center of the lid is decorated with a design in underglaze blue, and the sides are decorated with a design in underglaze blue in the style of fukizumi. In addition, the word “kome” (rice) is written in a long rectangular frame on the side of the body.
