Height: 7.6 cm, Mouth diameter: 14.4 cm, Foot diameter: 4.9 cm
This is a copy of a so-called Goryeo-style tea bowl with a slightly tapered body. The foot is small, and the interior of the foot is rounded and finished with a “kabuto-kin” (helmet-shaped) rim. The entire piece is covered in a blue-gray glaze, with the glaze applied unevenly only near the footring; however, the beautiful red spots characteristic of the original Goryeo ware are scattered throughout the interior and exterior. Six indentations are marked on the interior surface and the footring. The lid of the accompanying box is inscribed with “Hozen” on the front and “Hozen-zō” on the back.
