Height: 17.9 cm; Mouth diameter: 12.8–14.8 cm; Base diameter: 10.7–11.5 cm
This is another representative work by Daiichi Ohhi in the style favored by Senso—a slender water jar whose form seems to echo that of Shigaraki ware. It features a rough, chunky form with visible traces of carving, a sharply defined rim, and six swirl patterns arranged along the upper and lower sections of the body. This type of swirl pattern was frequently used in works favored by Sensō, and the entire piece is covered with a thin layer of amber glaze. It is accompanied by a hanging scroll by Gengensai.
