 From the late Kamakura period (1185-1333), many small hand-formed water jars like this one began to be produced. This was due to the diversification of daily vessels. It is made of water-glazed glass, and the handle is molded. The shoulder is stamped with a chrysanthemum seal flower design. The ash glaze is thickly applied, producing a beautiful bright green color.
