Seto ware: bowl with three legs, ash glaze.

 This is a large bowl or shallow bowl with a wide-open rim.
 It is made of a relatively dense yellowish-white clay. The ash glaze is applied over the entire surface, leaving the bottom of the outer surface and the waist. The color is similar to yellow glaze by oxidizing firing, but it is white over the entire surface. This piece dates from the middle of the 15th century.
