Chukoh specialty. Kokko-yaki tea caddy, Takatori ware. The “Meimono Meri Mukensho” (A Record of the Master’s Ware) says, “This is an old Takatori tea caddy with a small swing, as if it were a pillow.

It was owned by Kobori Enshu, passed through Itakura Isemori and Tanuma Shuden, and was purchased by Matsudaira Fumi during the Kansei era (1789-1801).
