　This Echizen four-mimi jar has a rounded mouth with the apex of the upright neck turned outward, and four raised horizontal ears on the shoulder of the body, which is almost spherical in shape. The lower half of the body is made of corded clay and shaped by using me vertically. The shoulder of the brownish-brown body is covered with a rich natural glaze, which flows down to a part of the body.
