13th century
Height 30.2 cm, mouth diameter 15.4 cm, body diameter 26.7 cm, bottom diameter 18.0 cm
This is a slightly thick-bodied jar with a jade-rimmed mouth. It is molded with rolled-up clay, and the surface has been shaped by grinding, with three chink lines on the shoulder. It is slightly under-fired, with a grayish tone from reduction firing, but there are some light reddish tones, suggesting that it was fired during the transition to oxidizing firing.
It was probably made near the end of the 13th century.
