Height 7.9cm, Bowl diameter 10.0cm, Stand diameter 5.0cm
This is an unmarked tea bowl, but its workmanship is similar to that of “Momohana-bo” and red “Jiro-bo”, which is different from “Shunkan” type. The bottom is thick, and the mouth is held slightly inward, with almost no undulations. The waist is rounded, and the base is slightly high, with a rounded base and tatami mat. There is a small tea tamenuri in the front, and the width of the helmet is made low in the base. The yuzu on the body is rather thick, and the outside is browned, but the area around the base is well melted and shiny. The front of the inner box lid is inscribed “Rikyu black tea bowl” and the back of the lid “Chojiro ware black tea bowl by Sen Soshitsu (Hanasho)” by Soso Soshitsu, and the back of the inner box lid is inscribed “Black tea bowl by Chojiro with box writing attached Soso Soshitsu Tsoso Bunzoe (Hanasho)” by Fumisai, with the text by Tsoso attached.
